Belarus introduces production of mobile animal feed analysis laboratories

Vitaly Chebotarev, First Deputy Director General of the Science and Practical Centre for Agriculture Mechanisation at the National Academy of Sciences, announced that Belarus has started manufacturing mobile animal feed analysis laboratories.

A mobile laboratory takes six minutes to do a test. It analyses six basic indicators of fodder crops. Having one or two such laboratories will allow keeping track of the status of fodder crops in this or that district. "With the help of such laboratories local authorities and agricultural companies will always know what is going on in the fields," said Vitaly Chebotarev.

The low quality of fodder crops is the pressing problem for Belarus, especially in the spring. The problem will be solved quite effectively with the help of such equipment, according to Vitaly Chebotarev.
